In operation since 1976, Progress Ranch promotes the hope, health, and well-being of boys by helping them develop the self-confidence, competence, and positive feelings that result from living in a nurturing setting within a supportive community.

The ages between 6 and 12 are impressionable years. Our facility has six beds. We are located in a residential neighborhood in the city of Davis, and boys are eligible to attend Davis public schools.

Progress Ranch is a nonprofit public benefit, 501(c) agency providing residential treatment services for the emotionally-troubled child. We are licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division. Children are placed by social service case workers from Yolo and other regional counties. Residential care is paid from government funds according to rates set by the State of California.
